Family visaWHAT WE READ
A refusal names reasons. The old file shows whether those reasons were fair on the papers you sent, or whether the papers never answered the test. Both are needed. A letter without the pack is a guess.
Funds, purpose, credibility, identity, or a specific missing document. We map each reason to a page in the old file. Reasons you cannot answer with new evidence stay on the table. They are not wished away in a cover letter.
Forms, bank statements, offer or permit, invitations, and statements. Contradictions the officer found are often already in that pack. Re-application only helps if those contradictions can be removed, not restated.
Sometimes the right work is a stronger visit, student, or work file. If that rebuild is realistic, LIA can take the next file over. Sometimes the first file was early and you still need an offer or a permit. Sometimes we will tell you not to spend more. That last answer is part of the job.
AR OR RE-APPLY
We do not invent an appeal or Administrative Review. If the letter names a right, we read the scope. If it names none, the next step is a new application or stop.

HOW THE REVIEW MOVES
Nothing is re-filed while the reasons in the letter are still unanswered. We write the next step only after that test.

A student visa filed without an offer, or a work visa filed without a permit, often fails for that reason alone. Re-application then starts on university admissions or work permits. The student visa, work visa, and visit visa pages are for files that already have the right papers underneath them.
